SAIC is seeking a top-notch Facilities Project Manager to join our talented team in Chantilly, VA. This position is responsible for providing the project management expertise for the coordination, planning, and work prioritization of assigned projects ranging in value from $100K to $40M or more.

In this role you will serve as an interface between the NRO; stakeholders; Site Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support; NRO customers; and the construction/design contractor on matters related to requirements, technical accuracy, prioritization, and project execution.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as the liaison, reporting to and coordinating with U.S. government representatives at multiple levels.
  • Work with the executing agent to ensure that customer requirements are accomplished on time, to the specified quality, and within budget.
  • Coordinate resource allocation and maintain document control.
  • Develop and deliver construction/contract documentation, including but not limited to Statements of Work, cost and schedule estimates, and daily reports.
  • Input and maintain project management data in the client’s system of record.
  • Analyze and take the initiative to improve on organizational processes.  

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience. 6 + years of relevant experience in IC, DOD, or Commercial Sector in the last 12 years. 
    • Note: Professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with facility operations/maintenance activities and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to team with industry partners.
  • Demonstrated experience with project, facilities management, and/or construction estimating.
  • Demonstrated track record of adhering to tight schedules with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing resources.
  • Demonstrated project management skills associated with managing performance, budget, schedules, and adhering to control gates.
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local building and safety codes.
  • Self-starter willing to take control/ownership of their projects.
