SAIC is currently seeking to hire a Systems Administrator - Non-NMCI PTEN-D to support the Software, Simulation, System Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate, DEVCOM Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC) is supporting the USINDOPACOM and the K. Mark Takai Pacific Warfighting Center (PWC) located in Pearl City, Hawaii.
This includes Modeling and Simulation (M&S) to support end-to-end life cycle development and execution, ensuring warfighter readiness and future capabilities are realized.
Job Description:
The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent technical competency, reliability in delivering mission-critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest accessibility, optimization, and security. Qualified Non-NMCI PTEN-D System Administrator applicants will have a strong background and understanding of installing, configuring, and administering systems to support DOD scheduled events and exercises at the Pacific Warfighting Center USINDOPACOM sponsored training exercises abroad. Assist a team of professionals with successfully coordinating, planning, and executing IT requirements for large-scale distributed events and exercises. Assists in analyzing, project planning, developing, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing large complex systems consisting of a combination that includes servers, computers, LANS, WANs and the physical and logical components that integrate these systems together as an enterprise networking backbone. Qualified network engineers’ applicants will have a strong background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelors with nine (9) years of experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Required Clearance:
Must have an Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance; US Citizenship required.

Meet DoDM 8570.2 IAT II or III requirements (CompTIA Security+/CASP, or ISC2 CSSP/CISSP).
