SAIC is seeking a Service Now Software Engineer to join our Panama City, Florida team. This position will be 100% remote.
- Enhance existing and develop new applications on the Now platform to support an existing DoD customer running in an IL5 environment.
- Experience in standing up new Service Now instances along with importing configurations from other instances.
- Experience in creating and configuring new HAM/SAM Pro dashboards.
- Ability to assist in linking instances for pushing tagged hardware and software data.
Responsible for building systems, organizing communication between functional areas for required media, and integrating patches & merge request into the build procedures and media (e.g. for "manual" build process).
Care & maintenance of systems installed labs, support centers, and site deliveries.
Generation, engineering, and documentation for engineering and software change requests.
Responsible for development of scripts & procedures to provide major architectural updates to existing systems in the field, engineering and software change request documentation.
Work with cyber security office (CSO) on closing vulnerabilities and remediating other security issues.
Responsible for the management of all code & repos used within the organization.
Develop code/scripts for other miscellaneous organizational areas and integrating with research and development (R&D) efforts into field-ready, mature solutions
Required Education and Experience:
Develop new Service Now applications using up to date coding and DevOps technologies.
Manage and maintain deployments of various environments, consisting of both infrastructure and software deployments, including operating systems and commercial software.
Experience with code version control tools.
Target salary range: $50,001 - $75,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
