SAIC is seeking an experienced Cloud Endpoint Device Engineer with experiences in Microsoft Cloud technologies to support Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) in Washington, DC. As a senior member of the Engineering team, this candidate will interact with peer teams and partner groups, partake in scaling and deployment improvements, and assist in consolidation and migration efforts within the enterprise. 

The Cloud Endpoint Device Engineer will aid in migrating to a more cloud-centric device management capability covering the full deployment lifecycle from initial build to ongoing operations and patching/updates. This is for a primarily Microsoft hybrid cloud-centric environment. The right candidate will have the ability to adapt to changing technology and apply it to the customer needs. Great communication, leadership, and personal skills are a must. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, someone who can work independently, and will be flexible in a fast-paced environment. 

Description of Duties: 

  • Assist with various implementation projects as they relate to Microsoft Intune, and integration with SCCM (co-management) and Big Fix 
  • Intune deployment, administration, migration, upgrades, and integrations 
  • Day to day administration of Intune policy and configuration changes
  • Group policy migration
  • Document Intune standard operating procedures and protocols
  • Create Intune dashboards and reports to monitor health
  • Create and perform Intune health checks, monitoring and driving persistent performance metrics
  • Receive technical work assignments via ServiceNow and customer data calls
  • Perform Intune administration requirements as documented in the SOP
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Intune and endpoint issues: configuration, compliance, quarantine, remediation
  • Assist customers (government agency) with restoring endpoint capabilities
  • Complete shift logs and turnover
  • Reply to all customer inquiries within the required SLA and MTTR 
  • Document issues and escalate to next tier support, or coordinate with other administrators as necessary
  • Perform endpoint device builds, refreshes and decommissions per Standard Operating Procedure
  • Perform engineering and integration with other Microsoft products like Azure AD and Microsoft Conditional Access Policies

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; may accept additional experience in lieu of degree. 
  • Federal Government experience a plus. 
  • Zero Trust awareness and experience a plus. 
  • VDI integration is a plus. 
  • Autopilot experience is a plus. 
  • Microsoft Azure certifications are preferred 
  • Ability to work independently to process technical service requests using an enterprise ticketing system such as ServiceNow, etc. 
  • Proficient in following standard operating procedures and complying with data entry standards. 
  • Experience troubleshooting challenging technical issues and identifying scope of issue to determine if escalation to next-tier support is necessary.

  • PIV and/or credential management, or other MFA capabilities 
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust concepts and architecture
