Description
SAIC is seeking an international policy analyst to provide Technical Security and Foreign Disclosure support to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)). Technical Security and Foreign Disclosure Analyst duties include:
Coordinate foreign disclosure approvals for OUSD(R&E) products, and assist OUSD(R&E) or Service representatives in requesting foreign disclosure one-time authorizations to exchange information on OUSD(R&E) led initiatives and providing recommendations on appropriate mechanisms to support information exchange
In accordance with DoD 5200.02 and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704, accomplish PERSEC duties including but not limited to: running queries of the the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)database for clearance information, pass clearances, provide SCI indoctrination assistance, and update JPAS records as necessary; providing guidance to R&E personnel as required concerning clearance information.
In accordance with DoD 5200.01 (DoD Information Security Program) and DoD 5205.02 (DoD Operations Security Program), accomplish INFOSEC/OPSEC duties including but not limited to: providing guidance to R&E personnel on Classification and Declassification as necessary; compiling annual reports (e.g., ISOO Standard Form 311 Report); and conduct Original Classification Authority/Derivative Classification training.
In accordance with DoDD 5200.08, DoDD 5200.01, DoD 5105.02, and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, accomplish PHYSEC duties including but not limited to: processing and accreditation of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF); certification of Temporary Secure Working Areas (TSWA), Top Secret Closed Storage areas (TSCS), Open Storage Secret areas (OSS), and Closed Storage Secret (CSS) areas. Assist with changes to combinations for GSA locks and containers and maintenance of Key Control Logs, assist with the adding and removing of GSA –approved containers. Respond to and provide solutions for any issues with locks and alarm systems in R&E spaces.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience; four (4) years of specialized experience which includes military experience may be substituted in lieu of specific educational requirements
Strong problem identification/resolution skills, flexibility, and initiative
Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office to include PowerPoint, Word, Access and Excel
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work in a dynamic government work environment and have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team
