DevSecOps Automation Engineer – Platform Services

We are looking for an DevSecOps Automation Specialist who is a pro with scripting + configuration management tools and languages like Ansible, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, etc. (having knowledge of other scripting and CM tools such as Puppet is an added advantage but not a must).

We are in search of a professional with an automation mindset who has the aptitude to automate anything and everything - from day to day operations, to building automation pipelines, to host services on premise and on Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP). A consummate Platform/Infrastructure-As-A-Service expert with at least 10 years of functional experience. This role requires deep understanding of all aspects of application hosting from an F5/load balancer to a Database and everything in between. 

Responsibilities:

• As a member of the Platform Services team, this role requires demonstration of superior technical competency in design, develop and modification of code to deliver on-premise infra needs and cloud (primarily AWS) automation needs resulting in Platform/infrastructure as code (PaaS/IaaS) deliveries.
• Translate design decisions, architecture designs to code for continuous deployment and repeatability.  Leverage the latest DevOps and Cloud automation tools such as AWS/Azure Resource Manager templates and Azure PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Salt stack, Python, and GitHub Actions to deploy cloud solutions.  Lead the team’s coding practices and release management.
• Ability to automate anything and everything; come up with alternative solutions where end-to-end automation is not feasible due to external factors or support groups.
• Participate in regular sprints and releases. Ensure automation user stories a are part of everyday delivery.
• Collaborate with other passionate individuals on automation strategy and best practices.
• Create and document low-level designs on SharePoint/Teams.
• Collaborate with Solution Architecture, BA’s, Platform engineering and Product teams for delivering Infrastructure as code.
• Work within a project management/Agile scrum team in a leading role.
• Utilize Agile and DevOps processes and principles, craft CI/CD pipelines, convert builds to use custom and cloud native build and release pipelines.
• Provide detailed knowledge of industry standard practices and have a thorough understanding of networking concepts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of functional experience in Platform/Infrastructure engineering, preferably as a Master Solutions Architect. 
• Minimum of 3 years' experience architecting all aspects of Platform computing (storage, platforms, data, load balancing, observability, and security) and strong Dev-Sec-Ops expertise.
• Hands-on experience in cloud computing-based services architecture, technical design, and implementations, including IaaS and PaaS.
• Experience with popular cloud technologies like AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Experience deploying applications on-premises and in cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP and also Hybrid.
• Proficiency with OpenSource and IBM/RedHat Middleware Stack like WildFly, JBOSS, ActiveMQ, FUSE, CAMEL etc., is an added advantage.
