Description
SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to oversee the content management solution of Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) material and Government off-the-shelf (GOTS) material. This includes the support we provide to our customer in troubleshooting, handling, operating, repairing and maintaining, and administrating the COTS/GOTS associated with training systems for the Joint Systems Integration Laboratory (JSIL).
Job Duties:
- Provide software, hardware, and systems support for training systems and development environment.
- Integrate GOTS and COTS software and hardware components, understanding of wired networking, and application of life cycle system sustainment.
- Responsible for the deployment, patching, managing, and maintaining of training systems.
- Deploy, maintain, and upgrade systems across the enterprise.
- Provide on-site technical support and operational training of the system.
- Troubleshoots hardware and operating systems and perform repairs on faulty system/server, software, and hardware.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree and five (5) years of experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree.
Required Clearance:
- An Interim Secret Clearance must be obtained prior to employment; a Secret Security Clearance must be obtained to maintain employment.
Required Skills:
- Must have at a minimum Security+ CE.
- Experience with administration of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server (2016/2019) and EXSI v6.7 or greater.
- Understanding of modern TCP/IP networking fundamentals for LAN/WAN.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps administration.
- Experience with patching and deploying software products and updates using Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
- Experience with managing and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services.
- Experience with Virtual Machines and hardware virtualization technology (VMWare).
- Experience with provisioning and operations of Storage Area Networks (SAN) or network attach storage (NAS).
