Description
SAIC is seeking a Nuclear Policy Analyst to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s Nuclear Enterprise Directorate. This position would specifically support the Nuclear Strategy Division, a dynamic and growing organization within the Nuclear Enterprise. We are looking for a person to:
Provide subject matter expertise in all nuclear weapon issues, to include nuclear triad experience (specifically from the air leg of the triad), for high level policy analysis and interpretation (Agency, Department, Congressional and Presidential) and associated activities or special studies/taskings/efforts concerning the overall nuclear deterrent enterprise, both CONUS and OCONUS.
Prepare senior leaders for strategic engagements; attend forums/meetings as required and prepare briefing materials, papers, program plans, and other material.
Provide technical review of policy documents; assist in the development and execution of studies and assessments.
Develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovativeness. Challenges are frequently unique and solutions may serve as precedent for future decisions.
Qualifications
