Description
SAIC is seeking a cleared Technical Project Manager to oversee an Air Force project to design, develop, and demonstrate a proof-of-concept, multi-level security (MLS) architecture. This is an onsite position based out of Kirtland AFB in New Mexico.
This individual will utilize Koverse and other multi-level security tools to support networking between Command and Control (C2) and 4th/5th generation aircraft simulators. MLS is a critical developing technology for numerous Department of Defense applications. This position enables the candidate to get in on the ground floor of this high demand capability. The proof-of-concept architecture will inform future performance capabilities of the Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) and Global Reference Interface Domain (GRID) supporting networked flight-simulation exercises.
As the Technical Project Manager, you will:
• Lead the Koverse Data Platform (KDP) team in the development of the prototype MLS architecture for the Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC).
• Work directly with the DMOC customer and the KDP team to develop cutting-edge solutions using KDP.
• Assist the KDP team with specifying, building, testing, and deploying customized machine learning and/or other mission-focused applications based on customer requirements.
• Participate in deployment and implementation planning with customers.
• Review and assist team with the production of documentation to support custom applications.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's and five (5), Master's and three (3) or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree
- Experience managing a technical team preferably in an AF/DOD environment.
- Clearance: Must be US Citizen and possess an Active Secret; eligible for Special Access Programs (SAP).
Desired:
- IAT-2 certified
- Experience with DMO and/or AF Modeling and Simulation Systems.
- Experience with network engineering.
