SAIC is seeking an Incident Manager.  The position will support the HQ USSOCOM SITEC initiatives at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida.

This position is contingent based on contract award expected October 2023. 

This is an on-site position supporting Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) in support of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

The Incident Manager provides Incident Management and Mission Continuity for the program with the objective of capturing/defining new requirements from all USSOCOM Directorates, tracking major and minor Incidents related to hardware, or applications, and coordinating with all relevant work centers, other SOCOM Directorates, and external agencies and other DoD organizations to include CENTCOM and Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).

This position will also support other associated activities, tasks, and projects in a very diverse and fast-paced test, integration, and operations-focused environment. 

General duties will include:

  • Track and report on tasks and priorities of the Incidents as they pertain to deliverables
  • Gather and document requirements and total scope from customers
  • Define and ensure acceptance of deliverables by customer(s)
  • Develop, coordinate, and manage schedules and timelines associated with requirement deliverables. Ensure will compliance with established  processes
  • Facilitate funding and acquisition requests (as applicable)
  • Coordinate amongst and between work centers, JSOC, and other SOCOM directorates to facilitate implementation of changes in the IT production environment
  • Provide written and oral communications to clearly articulate  requirements, solutions, status, and risks/issues to key stakeholders and leaders
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communications  - work with operations, engineers,  and project managers as applicable



 
 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a business management related IT field and two (2) years Incident Management experience 
  • Managing DOD IT requirements & solutions
  • Developing and managing schedules/budgets
  • Controlling change
  • Developing, defining, and scoping requirements
  • Managing tasks & priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be self- motivated, creative, willing to work as a member of a team, organized and able to manage individual schedules
  • Must be flexible and willing to work in a rapidly changing environment

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience or certification in ITIL and Project Management preferred

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

  • Active DoD Top Secret / SCI is required in order to be considered for this opportunity
