SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Process Manager/Scrum Master to join our multi-million dollar National Intelligence program supporting the Cloud Investment Multi-Cloud Management (CIMM) team.  As a contributor to the Intelligence Community’s first multi-cloud initiative, you will be at the epicenter of emergent cloud computing technologies, establishing a foundation that will evolve to include all agencies within the IC. 

As a  Business Process Manager, you will support the CIMM program manager with the planning and coordination of commercial cloud related activities, including cloud brokerage advisory services, infrastructure deployment, operational improvements, customer outreach services, and multi-cloud strategy and governance advisory services.  Additionally, you will work closely with the CIMM technical team in translating IT strategic goals, roadmaps, and mission requirements into future state architectures designed to leverage the cutting-edge functionality delivered through the Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E), Cloud Service Provider (CSP) contract.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Scrum Master and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) oversight
  • Ensuring CIMM project advisory tasks are completed within the timelines, tasking guidance from the Government is clear and unambiguous, contract personnel are qualified to perform the tasks, and potential personnel problems are preempted
  • Performing day-to-day management of the individual CIMM projects, and developing long-term and strategic objectives to ensure mission needs will be satisfied in future years of the contract
  • Providing advisory services to the Government customer, recommending common methods and approaches for developing and implementing multi-cloud governance policies and procedures following a centralized brokerage model
  • Serving as a cloud agnostic evangelist and helping educate the Government customer on cloud services
  • Establishing an adaptable C2E multi-cloud strategy governance model
  • Consulting and coordinating with the appropriate Government Task Manager for problem resolution, task scheduling, new resource requirements, training needs, and task clarification
  • Establishing and implementing streamlined processes and procedures, enabling the Contractor to rapidly respond to surge requirements for increased contract personnel
  • Consulting with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements
  • Staying abreast of advances in cloud technology

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM domain or related field
  • Experience in an advisory role, doing lots of engagement activities, is solid with deliverables and motivating and leading team members
  • Experience in a cloud and/or hybrid environment
  • High-level understanding of, and experience with, cloud agnostic technologies
  • Proficient in translating requirements into end-to-end designs for systems that involve multiple interfaces and supporting data repositories
  • Strong customer service skills, teaming skills, and the ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team, as well as the CSPs (AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, and Oracle)
  • Ability to explain technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences

Desired:

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services (This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction)
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective implementation of computing systems to meet mission needs
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following activities:
  • IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services (e.g., compute, storage, network, security, administration, automation, application services, and databases)
  • Full life cycle cloud development projects using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), IBM Cloud, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Certification(s):
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
    • Cloud related (e.g., DevOps, Security, and/or ML)
