Description

SAIC is hiring a Team Lead to support the Department of Navy (DoN) with the Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer Due Diligence process. As a member of the DoN Due Diligence Team you will be responsible for developing and coordinating procedures for assessing Navy SBIR/STTR requests. You will prepare analytical reports, make assessments, and manage case closures.  This position is hybrid remote with onsite work located in Arlington, VA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the SBIR/STTR due diligence process utilizing project management methodology and milestone goal-setting
  • Oversee the SBIR/STTR due diligence process (Phase I, Phase II) for the entire DON team, to include the Naval Intelligence Enterprise (NIE) comprised of NIA OCEA-N, ONI, and NCIS
  • Identify RD&A SBIR/STTR due diligence needs and assist with the Risk Review Board requirements
  • Identify and coordinate Risk Review Board discussions with RD&A Technical Points and DUSN(I&S) team to inform risk based decisions
  • Coordinate with due diligence counterparts to understand all due diligence actions
  • Develop and implement policy and procedures to ensure that the due diligence process is transparent, accountable, and effective

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and nine plus years of professional experience

Required Clearance:

  • TS/SCI required to start
  • US citizenship required

Required Qualifications: 

  • Five (5) or more years of management experience
  • Ability to interface with all levels of functional/division acquisition offices to accomplish projects for the government program office 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently without supervision

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience with SBBR/STTR
  • Experience supporting DoD Software acquisition
  • Experience with acquisition and program management within the DoD community
