Description
his position provides an outstanding entry-level opportunity to learn strategic business development and capture management skills within a growing organization. Leveraging SAIC’s collaborative environment, the Capture Management Analyst will liaison with a range of expert resources available in our organization as we support our customers’ missions.
The Capture Management Analyst organizes, coordinates, and helps execute capture management activities to ensure business pursuits/captures are progressing. Applicants should be collaborative, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a high-performing team. Broad activities include:
· Developing an in-depth understanding of SAIC business processes, systems, and tools as well as technology and service offerings
· Supporting opportunity teams by developing and maintaining positive relations with clients/customers and senior internal stakeholders
· Working with business development, capture teams, and business units to develop action plans for pursuing opportunities; once developed, supports capture team to execute the plans
· Scheduling meetings with pursuit teams, partner companies, and vendors
· Assisting with the development and management of opportunity capture artifacts, templates, and schedules
· Supporting marketing for campaign branding, industry-event activities, and opportunity-specific action items
· Facilitating other aspects of business development/capture management including CRM support, business development operations data analytics and reporting, securing and sensitive documents, maintaining knowledge management databases, supporting business intelligence activities, and evaluating partner capabilities and interest in opportunities
Qualifications
Experience in sales, customer service, business development operations data analytics and reporting, government contracting capture management and/or proposal management, government contracting business development and/or account management, preferably with direct exposure to Federal government sales with general knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and an interest in government acquisition
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of tools
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, verbal and written communications skills, plus the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly
Strong organization and time management skills
Demonstrated experience in a deadline-oriented environment
Applicants selected must have the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance and must meet eligibility requirements for access to Top Secret classified information with eligibility for SCI access preferred. Minimum of current Secret-level clearance preferred.
Normal office working conditions – hybrid work environment with a requirement for support in our Chantilly office up to 2-3 days/week
Around-the-clock availability and non-traditional working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
