SAIC is seeking a, Fully Remote, Ansible Automation Engineer to support the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Revolutionary IT Services (RITS) program to maintain and configure Ansible and Gitlab installations for USACE enterprise.

NOTE: This position is 100% Remote / Work from Home.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Technical expert for the Ansible ecosystem & Gitlab DevOps practices within the organization
• Provide solutions and technical implementation aligned with the automation program objectives
• Develop Ansible artifacts, troubleshoot issues and work on implementing configuration management roadmap of the organization
• Troubleshoot issues and work on implementing DevSecOps best practices within Gitlab enterprise
• Support software patch/update/upgrade evaluation and deployment for these two products 
• Support of their configuration within the datacenters

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• Bachelors and nine (9)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years accepted in lieu of degree
• Experience configuring Ansible and Gitlab in a distributed enterprise environment
• Experience preparing technical documentation
• Experience with automation with virtualized servers and patches
• Experience with Azure or AWS clouds

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:

• Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification, such as Security+ CE, CySA+ CE, etc

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

• Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain
• Must be a current US Citizen

Target salary range: $145,001 - $155,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
