SAIC is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with specialized focus on Performance Analytics and reporting, to join our team supporting the Department of Transportation (DOT)

Job Role Specific Requirements:

Core responsibilities and duties; highlight day-to-day activities:

  • Perform implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development with ServiceNow ITSM application     
        suite, and in identified speciality(ies)
  • Contribute to the design of the DOT Service Management System (SMS) and support SMS operations, to include engineers and the SMS development life cycle.
  • Evaluate evolving ServiceNow reporting functionality, remaining cognizant of complex system inter-dependencies and associated business process implications
  • Lead efforts to analyze and optimize report and dashboard performance
  • Maintain awareness and drive implementation of industry trends, upgrades/releases and best practices in ServiceNow reporting
  • Partner with stakeholders (internal/external) to understand report/data requirements and ensure results meet the business needs
  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services
  • Deliver new functionality across applications
  • Manage and perform SMS development activities, supporting the entire development lifecycle
  • Apply SDLC and DevOps principles
  • Perform response and resolution for escalated SMS service requests and incidents.
  • Assist the platform administrator with incident resolution.
  • Participate in on-call rotation providing support during non-business hours (nights, weekends, holidays).   

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 9+ total years of relevant IT experience in a technical field of which a minimum of 5 years are experience providing administration services for a major Service Management System (preferably ServiceNow).
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science (CS), or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience (6 years experience in lieu of degree).
  • Current ServiceNow Certification applicable if speciality(ies) designated for the position.
  • Current Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certification

Note: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder who has resided in the U.S. for at least 3 years and

    the ability to obtain a public trust
