Description

SAIC is seeking a Program Scheduler to support SAIC’s Prime Program, Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA.  Landmark AOS is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO’s Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.

The Program Scheduler will exhibit flexibility in task execution, provide technical/professional expertise on a variety of Systems Engineering topics (e.g., schedule management, requirements, readiness, verification, and validation, etc.), and advise the government on program activities. The work will initially focus on schedule management support to enable end-to-end closure for programs with available growth of scope and responsibility

Job Responsibilities to include:

  • Interact with Government project management and functional managers to define scope of work for projects, and develop and update detailed schedules and roadmaps
  • Use Jira and Microsoft Project to organize, implement and maintain roadmaps and schedules for the various program technical branches
  • Integrate developer schedules to generate and maintain an accurate Organization-level master schedule
  • Evaluate project schedule progress and performance, identify any variances, and highlight developing problem areas
  • Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around
  • Coordinate project level impact analyses of proposed engineering changes
  • Support agile process evolution across Government teams, development contractors, user engagement teams, and stakeholders

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s and 2 years or more of related experience; Master’s and one year of related experience. Work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Program/Planning/Scheduling experience 
  • Ability to multi-task and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work complex issues, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to prepare and present various types of reports to all levels of Management
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to apply organizational, planning, management, problem solving & execution skills to multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated capability and success working in team environments
  • Knowledge of MS Project
  • Familiar with Agile
  • Experience with the MS Office Suite of applications
