SAIC is seeking a Software System Engineer to work in a Program Office (PO) in El Segundo, CA. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. 

In this role you will provide direct support for major program acquisitions to the development branch. This program procures satellite vehicles with associated ground segments. The ground segment consists of ground command and control (C2) software and hardware, and includes Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) and networks.

This role requires a focus on software development, testing, analysis, and requirements verification. Additionally, there is a migration from bare metal to virtual environments.   

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelors of Science degree and 14 years or more experience; Masters and 9 years or more experience; PhD or JD  and 6 years or more experience.
• Risk management planning and mitigation experience.
• Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to include rainfall or agile methods
• Familiarity with space systems ground segment acquisitions and related Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of those systems.
• Understanding of full life-cycle system support, from procurement to O&M, including requirements analysis, requirements tracking, system design and development through system test, delivery, installation, and sell-off.
• CSEP and or PMP certifications.

Target salary range: $175,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
