About the SAIC MSI Program

Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has been awarded a $165 million contract by the Commonwealth of Virginia to serve as a multi-sourcing service integrator (MSI). Under the contract, SAIC will provide an innovative approach to assist the Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) with modernizing the state’s technology infrastructure. Under the contract, SAIC will coordinate and monitor multiple IT infrastructure services suppliers for state executive branch agencies. The MSI is the cornerstone of a strategy that will diversify the state’s portfolio of suppliers, improve service delivery quality, ensure cost-competitiveness, and provide transparency and accountability into the commonwealth’s service delivery platform.

Position Summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to join our team supporting a major state & local government customer. Essential duties of this position include:

  • Analyze existing business and IT processes and process maturity assessments to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Analyze new customer Policy and Standards to determine if and what process updates must be made to ensure continued compliance.
  • Support meeting activities (schedule meetings, coordinate meetings, meeting minutes).
  • Routinely interact with high-level personnel to collect data for requirements of the program.
  • Provide recommendations for briefing program status.
  • Analyze, create, and present reports on program status and execution.
  • Maintain/update content on the programs SharePoint site.
  • Review and propose changes to program support documentation to ensure compliance with policies and directives.
  • Contribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication and cooperative working relationships.
  • Support training planning and provide oversight for staff and Supplier training to maintain compliance with Commonwealth and IT Infrastructure (ITISP) requirements.

The Program Analyst performs a critical role ensuring that the technology underpinning supporting IT support processes and workflows are working effectively, reliably, and efficiently to meet service objectives and customer expectations. The Program Analyst will serve as a key representative and spokesperson for SAIC with the customer and will be accountable for technical documentation and critical deliverables in the environment.
 
This position is a designated Key Personnel on the contract; as a result, the final candidate will require Customer approval.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors and six (6)  years of relevant experience or more; Masters and four (4)  years of experience
  • A working knowledge of computer systems, with training, schooling, or entry level support of IT systems
  • A working knowledge of continuous improvement principles
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, organize and author technical information and documentation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic concepts of Program Management.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and apply effort towards learning
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and organize technical information and present the results
  • A working knowledge of basic scheduling and budget practices and procedures
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • ITIL certification preferred (Foundation or above
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Highly proficient in MS Office products and Microsoft SharePoint

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
