Description

SAIC is seeking a Program Analyst in Chantilly, VA to provide support to a customer charged with delivering solutions across a rapidly expanding complex space and ground system initiatives. The Program Analyst will work closely with Government and SETA staff to plan, deliver, maintain, and enhance critical mission capabilities for the NRO enterprise.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide support to the Systems Program Office (SPO) in acquisition and execution of mission critical systems
  • Operate as part of a team of high-performing subject matter experts (SMEs) responsible for planning, development and execution of new acquisitions, guiding programs through Milestone Decision Authority (MDA) directed reviews, developing and executing ECPs, monitoring contract execution and providing technical analysis
  • Provide basic acquisition and contract management and preparation of all documentation related to acquisition and contract package development
  • Prepare acquisition management related sections of acquisition project documentation to include, but not limited to Statement of Work (SOW), Justification and Approval (J&A), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Market Research
  • Provide assistance in the coordination of Integrated Project Teams (IPTs), various program actions, and activities including tracking action items and maintaining meeting minutes
  • Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
  • Track status of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) reviews for compliance, execution, and program status
  • Assist in keeping schedules, booking conference rooms and ensuring principals are present at required meetings
  • Assist in Pre-Acquisition, Acquisition and governance artifact generation
  • Assist in guiding program acquisitions through agency governance process
  • Maintain awareness and track status of Systems Engineering Processes and Artifacts
  • Assist leadership in coordination and collaboration activities across multiple agencies and with oversight organizations
  • Coordinate acquisitions and acquisition documents across the Program Office

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma OR three (3) years’ experience with Bachelor degree
  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in Project/Program Management in supporting diverse/concurrent projects
  • Ability to quickly understand and respond to Government queries
  • Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing project demands and dependencies.
  • Exceptional communication and coordination skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
