Make a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated IT professionals who will sustain, modernize and transform the enterprise IT capabilities for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The National Security & Space Sector of SAIC is seeking a Systems Administrator Senior to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.
SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation’s information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.
Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).
Job Description
Administers and maintains the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Active Directory (AD) structure, infrastructure, group memberships, policies, and service accounts as part of the overall strategic objective of the DCSA IT modernization and One IT initiatives to provide an improved flexible and evolving enterprise IT environment to support the DCSA mission IAW with DCSA and DoD policies and procedures and commonly utilized industry best practices. Ensures continuity in the day-to-day operation of the AD infrastructure. Designs Organizational Unit (OU) structures that allow proper management of VDI workstations. Ensures the AD architecture is adequate for the demands of VDI, including domain replication zones, Domain Controller (DC) placement and communication, and DC load. Manages AD groups to provide access to the VDI environment. Designs, creates, and manages group policies for users and VDI machines to enforce security compliance. Provides monitoring and reporting of domain reliability and security. Uses Loop Back Processing for certain user accounts within the current operating environment. Ensures critical service accounts have required VDI privileges, and that passwords meet requirements for security compliance. Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues. Tests AD changes, new software deployments, and GPO policies in a test domain prior to implementation. Provide inputs into the Activity Report.

It is required that the Systems Administrator Senior have the following qualifications
BA/BS
5 to 8 years of experience
TS (SCI Eligible)
IAT Level II or CCSP-IS, Certification in one of the following areas, CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CEH
Applicable Server Management Compute Environment (CE) Certification
Desired Qualifications
MA/MS with 3 to 6 years of experience
TS/SCI
