SAIC is seeking a Front End Full Stack Developer, in Herndon, VA (position will relocate to Chantilly in Aug-Oct 2023), to work closely with customer Program Managers and a small team of software developers to accelerate system and application development. The successful candidate works side-by-side with the other team members comprised of world class Machine Learning Engineers, System Architects, Software Developers, Cloud Engineers, Cyber Engineers, and Multimedia Specialists to lead the customer in developing new technical solutions.
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Work within the team to develop new and to enhance existing systems and applications
- Produce effective and elegant code based algorithms
- Test and deploy programs and applications
- Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software
- Compile and assess user feedback to improve software performance
- Proactively seek opportunities to use process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to facilitate improvements to team processes
Qualifications
Required
-
Must have current TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph.

Bachelors degree and (9) years or more of related experience. Masters and (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and (4) years or more experience
- Thorough understanding of REACT (minimum of 3 years), Material UI, or other JavaScript frameworks and unit testing
- Experience developing an application using REACT Redux Toolkit for state management
- Experience integrating mockups and prototyping wireframes
- Experience with RESTful API architecture
- Experience with Python and Django web applications
- Minimum 2 years of experience with AWS platform
Desired
- Experience with troubleshooting
- Good project management skills
- Experience with container technologies - Docker, ECR, ECS, EKS
- Experience incorporating Machine Learning models into web applications
- Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch
