SAIC is seeking a Software Engineer Kofax Developer to join our team in Millington, TN.

After 1 week of onboarding in Millington, TN the position will be Flexwork with visits to the site only a couple of times a year. 

This is a fulltime position to support the Navy Personnel Command for program support of the BUPERS HR On-line systems.  The candidate must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Candidate will interface with end-users, system engineers and database administrators on a regular basis so interpersonal skills are a must.  Candidate is expected to have the analysis skills to solve problems.

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain, Design, develop, and integrate multi-tiered Microsoft .NET based web applications supporting Navy Personnel Command projects
• Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manage their implementation
• Work as a leader or member of a team
• Review existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques
• Formulate and define specifications for software applications or modifies and maintain existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer
• Be responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS:  This position requires a self-motivated, professional individual with demonstrated progressive experience designing and developing Kofax applications, including:

• Experience as an  application engineer/developer using .NET Frameworks, Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server
• Specific development experience with C#, SQL, and VB
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the .NET Framework
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle, strong analysis skills, experience in designing, developing, implementing testing .NET based business applications
• Experience with Kofax Total Agility, Kofax Capture, or Kofax Transformation Modules

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; experience in lieu of degree will be accepted
• Four (4) or more years of Kofax development experience to include integration to Microsoft SQL and DB2 databases
• Upon job acceptance,  candidate must be able to obtain Interim secret clearance prior to work start date

Prior to the hire date, the candidate must possess one of the following Information Security certifications.

• Security+
• CISA (Certified Information System Auditor)
• GSE (GIAC Security Essentials)
• CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professional)

Within six (6) months of hire date, the candidate must either obtain a commercial computing environment certification or a computing environment training certificate.

Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
