SAIC is looking for a Remote Solutions Architect that will have occasional travel to the customer site in Chantilly, VA. 

The Solutions Architect serves as the technical lead for executing the relevant activities within the solutioning process in support of Business Development, Capture and Proposal teams. Responsible for identifying, tailoring and integrating technical capabilities and innovations to address customer needs, hot buttons, pain points and requirements to help shape acquisitions, competitively position SAIC and contribute to winning proposals. 

Responsibilities:

Leverage domain expertise, develop comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and lead the development of a complete and highest-rated technical solution and price competitive proposal.

Identify technical resources needed to support Pre-B&P (capture) and B&P (proposal) activities.

Participate in development of solutions and proposals to unusually complex problems which require a high degree of ingenuity and innovation; and collaborate with technical business units to craft unique solutions to respond to customer challenges

Lead or support the development of the Technical Solution including our Approach, Graphics, and Roadmap with differentiated strengths, tailoring Team SAIC capabilities to meet customer requirements; address their issues and challenges; and achieve their goals and objectives

·       Support capture with customer meetings by presenting SAIC's capabilities, services and solutions, gaining customer feedback, and shaping customer requirements

Qualifications

Bachelors and 10 years or more of capture and/or solution development experience; relevant years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

Demonstrated expertise providing innovative digital solutions in one or more of the following areas: 

• Cloud/Infrastructure – supported customer transformations of legacy application (i.e. modernize, lift-shift, etc.) to the cloud/multi-cloud, refactoring of GEOINT application, and/or supporting enterprise services (i.e DevSecOps, devising Cloud Native Big Data solutions, etc.) in or to the cloud. 
• Data Science/AI – supporting customers in leveraging Data Science/AI to breaking down legacy specialized data silos or processing of highly unstructured data (e.g. image based processing) utilizing emerging tooling (i.e. Azure, AWS, Google, graph DB, etc.) and  techniques (i.e. Ontology driven, Object based modeling).
• Cyber – supporting customers addressing the challenges of traditional RMF in support of Information Assurance to continuous ATO in the cloud, resolving cyber within Big Data solutions, and/or addressing emerging transformation such as DevSecOps or Zero Trust.

Additional Requirements: 

• Experience winning large ($100M+), complex government GEOINT, IT or Mission Support programs within the Intelligence Community, preferably the NGA
• Proposal experience leading or supporting technical solution development for $100M+ programs
• Understanding of technology methodologies, best practices, delivery models or frameworks relevant to individuals domain area expertise
• Understanding costs, schedule and level of effort associated with delivering a solution
• Demonstrated leadership capability to articulate a solution across all stakeholders and leadership
• Written and verbal communication skills; experience transitioning solution into written/oral proposal 
• Clearance: U.S. Citizen with TS/SCI clearance
