We are seeking an experienced React Frontend Developer to join our team supporting FDA Big Data and ML solutions for healthcare research. We are looking for a well-rounded, highly motivated self-starter for a position that offers a large impact and a variety of interesting responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain applications, components and web user interfaces
  • Deliver error-free structured and tested code
  • Assist in testing of applications
  • Work with users, biologists and data analysts to build and refine user experience and application usability
  • Participate in all stages of software development, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance
  • Bug fixing, troubleshooting and application support

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
  • MS in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or similar
  • 5-8 years of JavaScript development experience is a must - preference given to candidates who have experience working with enterprise applications.
  • 5-8 years of JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as React.js is required.
  • Good understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Working knowledge of REST and JSON APIs.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
  • Solid understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance.
  • Experience with Python and/or C++ is a plus.
  • Quick and independent learner.
