Description
SAIC is looking for Open Source Targeters (OSINT) to utilize research best practices, apply critical thinking and analytic skills while conducting open-source searches (dark web and general web) to seek out content to inform analysis and support operations. Candidates must be able to apply an in depth understanding of the customer’s vision and mission, craft effective queries, organize and communicate information clearly, and explore for new insights and sources of information to build a comprehensive understanding and landscape of defined areas of interest. The successful candidate will be able to create and maintain appropriate accounts to enable research. Additionally, the candidate will apply knowledge of scripting/programming languages well suited for collection of information to meet research objectives.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:

Must have an active/current TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.

Bachelor’s degree and Intel Community experience in open-source research or targeting within customer domain.

Expert in conducting open-source internet research, and creating and managing open-source accounts, using appropriate best practices and familiarity with analytic and operational practices.

Experience and technical understanding utilizing social media sites, messaging apps, and other forms of online platforms.

Proven out-of-the-box thinking to develop innovative open-source targeting, collection, and exploitation methodologies.

Proven ability to effectively communicate findings and assessments in oral and written communication.

Must have experience working knowledge of customer systems and tools.

Experience with understanding and researching for data, commercial business analytic tools, highly preferred.
DESIRED:
- Experience with Tor/Dark Web collection and exploitation.
