SAIC is seeking a motivated and skilled candidate to help them derive requirements and use cases for software development, generate system architectural documents, and apply technical experience related to software development and agile software development processes to help drive project success.  The successful candidate will bring an ability to work collaboratively with others, have the initiative to drive actions to completion, and possess a willingness to take on tasks needed to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly
• Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
• Experience deriving requirements and user use cases for software development
• Experience directly supporting or leading IT system architectural planning, and generating supporting technical documents
• Experience validating, verifying, and evaluating technical designs and products and preparing recommendations/findings for the customer
• Experience with agile software development processes
• Experience using JIRA, KIBANA, CONFLUENCE and other software suites that enable agile software development projects
• Experience with hands-on software development OR systems engineering for software systems
• Experience supporting customer technical reviews and preparing technical documentation for engineering and programmatic review boards
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across organizational boundaries to facilitate requirements gathering, use case identification and coordination of program plans
• Self-starter eager to take the initiative
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired:

• Experience with customer targeting tools, methods, analytics
• Experience working in the IC on IT systems
• Degree in computer science, data science, data engineering, systems engineering, information systems or similar field
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence or machine learning technologies
