SAIC has a contingent job opportunity for a Security Engineer/ Computer Scientist to support a U.S. Navy program in Point Mugu, CA. 

This future opportunity will support the ETIRMS (Electronic Warfare Tactical Information and Report Management System) software system and MESA (Multi-domain EW Services and Analytic) Solutions and Services. 

This position is contingent upon contract award, expected in Nov 2023.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently. 
• Works with Virtual Machines; creation, maintenance and dissemination
• Creates installation packages for Software and Databases
  • Uses InstallShield in support of local solutions
• Tracks security boundaries and cyber security activities of development lab areas and the overall deployed products
• Assists in the transition of frameworks/architectures 
• May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job. 

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Requires over three (3) years of experience in software development and a BA/BS degree or higher in Computer Science or Mathematics, or additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree. 
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
