SAIC is seeking a Solution Architect to support our SAIC Digital WorkSpace Group. SAIC’s Digital WorkSpace is a multi-client managed service organization. We specialize in creating and delivering managed service solutions for Federal, State/Commonwealth, and Local governments across the entire United States.

Digital WorkSpace is seeking a creative growth-oriented Solution Architect to support injecting cutting-edge technology such as AI, Cloud and other automation technologies into existing manage service offerings to increase profitability and scalability. Additional responsibility in using these solutions and new technology in Business Development, Capture, and Proposal development and bid submission of managed service solutions. Additionally, this position will also engage with existing SAIC customers and Program Managers to insert cutting edge technology with AI to increase profitability, increase scalability, and lead customers to a more efficient tomorrow.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create a technical roadmap for introduction of AI, and Cloud Solutions for both SAIC Digital WorkSpace and our Customers
• Identifies technical staff needs to execute new technology and solutions
• Coordinate with Digital WorkSpace team members on solution development, proposal writing, and estimating
• Review and write solutions for cutting edge technology for Federal, State and Local Government to increase efficiency and cost for our government customers
• Oversees the development of basis of estimates (BOE) or basis of material (BOM) for these new technologies in AI and Cloud solutions
• Provide subject matter expertise to meet customer technical, schedule and cost requirements within applicable risk parameters
• Meet with customers to articulate Digital WorkSpace capabilities in the new technologies created and how these technologies benefit the customer
• Provide solution-related technical support after contract award as needed
• May support market segmentation, long-term positioning, and opportunity assessment from a solution strategy perspective as requested

Qualifications

• Bachelors and 18 years or more of related experience in creating and bidding on managed service solutions. Additional experience considered in lieu of a degree. 
• Experience in solution development and proven track record of implementing cutting edge technology for Federal, State, and Local government clients
• Experience in analyzing client needs and delivering compelling IT managed services, solutions, service architecture design and advisory/consultancy services
• Excellent communications skills, articulate, disciplined and seasoned presentation skills to Exec level (down) customers and internally
• Understanding of financial and commercial principles, particularly within IT managed services
• Proven record of contract awards leading teams in bidding, and implementing cutting edge technology

• Providing leadership and guidance in defining the overall solution landscape and strategy for our clients
• Partnering with client business leadership to educate their organization on key changes to current business processes
