Description
SAIC seeks a highly experienced and energetic Incremental Sustainment Services (ISS) Team Lead to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions. In support of the government customer, the SAIC Program Manager, and the Chief Engineer, the PARCS ISS Team Lead is responsible for responsive and coherent planning, development and delivery of AN/FPQ-16 PARCS radar hardware and software modifications in response to change requests and deficiency reports. The Team Lead will continually harmonize PARCS ISS Team efforts with the Systems Engineering Team with other program teams (e.g., Integrated Product Support, Depot Maintenance, etc.).

Experience
9 years developing and/or sustaining national security, no-fail mission systems.
9 years of experience managing large-scale Agile or SecDevOps teams/projects, to include support to cost estimating, baseline and risk management, schedule development, performance monitoring and reporting
Experience leading waterfall-to-agile transformations, designed to deliver Minimum Viable Products in a consistent cadence.
Experience with a broad range of system types: custom developed HW/SW, COTS/GOTS HW/SW, and specialty engineering of exotic material/limited supply items.
Experience in cloud-hosted development, integration, and test capability.
Experience with configuration and data management, hardware and software test & evaluation of classified systems
Experience implementing cybersecurity solutions in existing, DoD systems
Experience with implementing and sustaining distributed systems, virtual operating system environments, and virtual/augmented reality technologies.
Experience translating operational requirements into system requirements; and system requirements into technical requirements/performance standards.

Bachelor’s degree in related field of study

Experience
14 years of experience managing large-scale Agile or SecDevOps teams/projects, to include support to cost estimating, baseline and risk management, schedule development, performance monitoring and reporting
9 years’ experience sustaining PARCS, or other Strategic Warning and Surveillance radar systems such as PAVE PAWS and UEWR.
Experience in systems engineering, Model-based Systems Engineering and related areas, to include managing teams/projects delivering solutions for missile warning or other national security space mission systems
Knowledge of the Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment mission and associated enterprise.
Experience maintaining national security mission networks
Education, Training and Certifications
Masters of Science in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or relevant STEM concentration
Project Management Institute (PMI) Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)®, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®, or Project Management Professional (PMP)®
