Description
SAIC is seeking a Cloud Data Cyber Engineer to provide Systems Engineer Technical Advisor (SETA) services for a critical position the Landmark GSS program in Chantilly, VA.
Landmark GSS supports the NRO’s Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements
- Research information security standards
- Conduct system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments
- Study architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates
- Monitor, analyze, and detect Cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks under general supervision
- Assist with integrated, dynamic Cyber defense, coordinate, and maintain security toolsets to support organizations’ continuous monitoring and ongoing authorization programs, establish a framework by which cyber risk can be measured and quantified in the marketplace
- Advise government personnel on compliance to standards and policies
- Recommend courses of action for incident response, as well as oversee design of enterprise systems to ensure alignment with local cybersecurity regulations
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Requires 12-15 years with BS/BA or 10-13 years with MS/MA or 10+ with a PhD
- Active Top Secret/SCI with the ability to obtain a Poly
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, operations research, engineering management, or related STEM degree program.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with other government and contractors in a challenging and rewarding work environment.
- Experience with multiple commercial cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.)
- Experience or knowledge with Atlassian commercial tools including Confluence and JIRA.
- Experience or knowledge with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) agile methodologies.
