Description

SAIC is looking or a Senior Logistics Analyst to perform Life Cycle Logistics on NAVAIR Aircraft Gun Systems commodities in accordance with DON policies in Crane, IN.

Core duties will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Develop Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) utilizing Slicwave software.
  • Develop Life Cycle Support Plans (LCSPs)
  • Submit requests to establish Support Equipment Requirement Documents (SERDs)
  • Develop and maintain training plans
  • Analyze tool requirements and ensure Tool Control Program (TCP) adequately supports needs
  • Conduct Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
  • Review and validate the correlation between supply provisioning data, maintenance plan, maintenance manuals, and technical data package
  • Conduct Logistics Supportability Analysis (LSA)
  • Compile data for NALCOMIS OOMA baseline requirements
  • Compile data for support equipment requirements
  • Compile data for HAZMAT requirements
  • Compile data for Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) requirements

In addition to the noted core duties, the LMS will at times also be required to do the following:

  • Technical Directive (TD) compliance and tracking
  • Implement DoD Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) concepts
  • Monitor deficiency reports and establish metrics for tracking trends

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of experience; OR Master’s Degree and 4 years of experience.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. Interim Secret needed to start.
  • This position requires familiarity with the use of the following websites/information systems:
    • Joint Deficiency Report System (JDRS)
    • WebFLIS, Onetouch Support, FedMall, and LOGSA
    • Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering Command (NATEC)
    • Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP)
    • Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP)
    • Slicwave
    • Deckplate and Vector
  • Ability to pass the Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E) screening.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs to chest height.
  • Ability to obtain the following:
    • Explosive handling certification.
    • Fork truck operator’s license.
