Description
SAIC is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer supporting Weather Data Application Migration to the Cloud. This is full-time remote work that may be performed from anywhere within the United States.
Qualifications
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance as needed
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors and two or more years of experience with developing enterprise cloud-native solutions
- Experience with using active learning and analytical thinking within a collaborative, cross-functional, team environment
- Experience with Python development
- Experience working in an Agile/DevSecOps process
- Knowledge of provisioning computer networking and storage
- Experience with developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving AWS
- Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
- Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
- Ability to obtain a security clearance and Security+ Certification within 30 days
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field
- Experience with NiFi and KAFKA
- Experience working with Kubernetes and Istio
- Experience with Data Management, Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Governance, and Data Science
- Experience working with DoD organizations
