The National Security & Space Sector of SAIC is seeking a UI/UX Developer Senior to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.
SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation’s information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.
Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).
Job Description
Provides user interface and user experience focused application design and development support to the Program Executive Office (PEO) as part of overall efforts to provide innovative, emergent, and continual business process and enterprise IT solution improvements to the DCSA OCIO environment IAW DoD and DCSA OCIO policies, procedures, and data standards. Performs UX research; builds wireframes, UX flow, and prototypes; ensures design is human-centered; and subsequently develops or enhances the interface/application to match the design and ensure smooth functioning. Receives direction from Scrum Master for the objectives for each Sprint to be accomplished. Creates application programming interface (API) and ensures STIG compliance. Supports software development team in planning, designing, implementing, and documenting the integration process of cross-connected systems, including connected or disconnected mobile solutions, on classified, unclassified, and coalition networks. Works with Agile team members to develop test plans, specifications, analysis, and design of the integrated solution, to ensure accomplishment of user focus and compatibility between existing applications and elements. Evaluates and recommends new tools, emerging hardware/software systems selects, and industry best practices that lead to DCSA OCIO architecture modernization. Supports gathering of customer and stakeholders’ feedback to determine enhancements and improve user experience and impact of the ABM Tool . Investigates and applies analytics best practices to create Dashboards within ServiceNow that convey digestible and interactive graphics that will lead to more informed decision-making capabilities. Supports development of systems architecture/design documents. Investigates opportunities to integrate the ABM Tool and other DoD tools to drive efficiencies and enhance user experience across the DoD enterprise. Delivers capabilities of automated workflows, timely and comprehensive reporting capabilities, and access to reliable historical and future year requirements.

IAT Level II, Certification in one of the following areas, CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP
Desired Qualifications
Target salary range: $135,001 - $145,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
