JOB DESCRIPTION:

SAIC has an immediate opening for an IT Service Management Advisor to support global IT operations.  The successful applicant will participate within a geographically dispersed team to oversee a set of service provider’s design, delivery, and enhancement of the globally integrated technology domain.  The successful candidate will leverage their background in Information Technology (IT), the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), IT Service Management (ITSM), and Project Management (PM) to understand customer needs, translate them into action items, and then oversee the service delivery of the corresponding capabilities.  This work will be performed at a customer facility in the Colorado Springs area. US citizenship is required. Active TS/SCI with poly is required. Targeted salary is 125,001-135,000. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Successful candidate must be able to:

·         Demonstrate a strong working understanding of IT, ITIL, ITSM and Project Management

·         Strategically assess the customer’s vision and needs to seek opportunities to influence and improve service delivery quality

·         Review incoming action items and assist the customer with reviewing and determining the best Course(s) of Action (COAs)

·         Convert approved COAs into draft IT requirements for issuance to service support providers

·         Capture, document, and present analysis process, findings, and project statuses to decision makers

·         Demonstrate strong oral and written communications skills to facilitate clear and concise delivery statuses on multiple, concurrent          activities

·         Coordinate with commercial vendors, customers, and mission partners in the review and scheduling of service delivery activities

·         Represent the customer’s strategic objectives at various review boards

·         Perform technical assessments of proposed solutions to ensure they fulfill the customer’s requirements

·         Facilitate Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) between customers, mission partners, and various vendors

·         Ensure meeting coordination, scope clarity, policy compliance, and alignment with strategic objectives

·         Assist the customer with problem and anomaly identification and problem resolution

·         Demonstrate the ability to manage projects using project management methodologies, interpret complex information and provide            informed analyses to recommending suitable technical solutions

·         Assist the customer with root cause analysis and after-action report development

·         Actively represent the current IT status in support of space launch operations

   

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

· Must be a US Citizen

· Within a STEM field of study:  Bachelors in a STEM related field and five (5) years or more experience;  Masters in a STEM related field and three (3) years or more experience;  Significant applicable work experience of more than ten (10) years may be considered in lieu of a degree

·  Must possess and maintain a Top Secret clearance with Poly

·  Must be able to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)

·  ITIL v3, or 4 related certifications are a plus, but not required

·  Certified Program Management Professional (PMP) is a plus, but not required

·  Scaled Agile Framework for enterprise (SAFe) is a plus, but not required


Target salary range: $125,001 - $135,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
