SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, DevSecOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.

We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Data Business Analyst to join our multi-million dollar National Intelligence program supporting the Cloud Investment Multi-Cloud Management (CIMM) team.  As a contributor to the Intelligence Community’s first multi-cloud initiative, you will be at the epicenter of emergent cloud computing technologies, establishing a foundation that will evolve to include all agencies within the IC.  As the Cloud Data Business Analyst, you will be responsible for capturing and analyzing data to identify trends, and developing valuable insights to assist with solving problems and making business decisions.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Cleaning, analyzing, interpreting, and displaying data using Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI
• Conducting trend analysis activities and providing recommendations
• Conducting analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data
• Transforming raw data into meaningful statistics, information, and explanations
• Reorganizing data in a readable format
• Preparing reports for management showing trends, patterns, and predictions
• Researching cloud topics, and identifying services and features Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) offer
• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:   

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
•       Bachelor’s Degree in STEM domain or related field
•       9+ years of experience in data and trend analysis
•       9+ years of experience using data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and/or Qlik
•       Experience identifying new processes and improving existing ones (e.g., automating processes, cutting down on process time, writing relevant documentation)
•       Previous experience as a business analyst, data analyst, data scientist, or requirements analyst
•       Problem-solving skills
•       Accuracy and attention to detail skills
•       Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment

Desired Qualifications:

•       Experience in a cloud and/or hybrid environment
•       Experience working on multiple cloud platforms
• Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, and/or Python
• Strong mathematical skills to assist with collecting, measuring, organizing, and analyzing data
•       Adept at using data processing platforms such as Apache Hadoop and Spark
•       Experience with requirements analysis tools and processes
•       Certification in any of the Cloud Service Providers (CSPs): AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM, Oracle
