SAIC is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to join National Security and Space (NSS) Sector Solution Architect team.  The Staffing Solutions Architect (remote position) serves as the staffing lead for executing the relevant activities within the solutioning process in support of Business Development, Capture and Proposal teams. Responsible for identifying resources, tailoring job descriptions to align to management and technical solutions and integrating staffing plans into the basis of estimates (BOE) to competitively position SAIC and contribute to winning proposals. 

Staffing SA Responsibilities Include:

• Interpret Labor categories and have the ability to map them to potential resources’ education and experience qualifications
• Utilize internal database to mine through company resumes
• Reconcile staffing plans with management, technical solutions and basis of estimates (BOE)
• Write job descriptions

Qualifications

• Bachelors and minimum of 9 years or more of related experience; Masters and 7 years relevant years of experience; PhD and 4 years of experience; 4 years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Demonstrated and successful experience leading and submitting a staffing plan on a winning large (>$100M), complex government Engineering, IT or Mission Support programs
• Demonstrated leadership capability to articulate a staffing plan across all stakeholders and leadership
• Minimum Intermediate level Excel skills
• Ability to work in dynamic and time-sensitive environment; to include occasional evenings and weekends during live proposal to meet delivery timelines when necessary
• Expert-level written and verbal communication skills; experience translating solution requirements into job descriptions
• Understand costs, schedule and level of effort associated with delivering a staffing plan
• U.S. Citizen

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with FEDSIM Staffing Plan
• Understanding of the proposal lifecycle
• Experience writing job requisitions and conducting interviews
• Experience working in Taleo
