SAIC is currently looking to hire a Senior Contracts Analyst to join our TAGM team located in Huntsville, AL.

This is a hybrid position at the discretion of the Huntsville, AL Army customer.

Program Information:

The Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) Project Office encompasses such Army systems as TOW, Javelin and Hellfire missile systems as well as rapid capability development and contractor oversight for the various systems.

Responsibilities Include:

  • The individual will be working in a fast-paced environment performing Acquisition / Contract Analyst duties for the US Army’s Javelin Product Office and will report directly to the Javelin Acquisition Branch Chief.
  • Responsible for creating, staffing, coordinating, and maintaining records of Contract Requirements Packages (CRPs) including Statement of Work (SOW), Contract Deliverables (CDRLs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), Justification & Approvals (J&As) and Acquisition Plans (APs). 
  • Communicates directly with the Army Contracting Command (ACC) Contract Specialists and Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO).
  • Liaises with and assists Program Officers, Business Officer, and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads to maintain project schedule and efficacy.
  • Answers inquiries relative to contract activities of the program office and participates in program office budget reviews and business meetings.
  • May performs other contract related duties as assigned by the Javelin Product Office leadership.
  • Hybrid telework potential based on current posture of the supported Government Office; currently hybrid with approximately 3 days in office per week and 2 days telework per week.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree and six (6) years of experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree.

Required Clearance:

  • An Interim Secret Clearance is required to begin employment; a Secret Security Clearance is required to maintain employment.

Required Skills:

  • Contract experience
  • Experience reviewing project implementation and gather data on project execution
  • Experience maintaining, filing and providing distribution of contractual documents such as contracts, purchase orders, delivery orders, bid schedules, specifications, drawings and other related documents to the required program office leads
  • Strong experience in Army / DoD Acquisition and Contracting roles IAW DFARS and other applicable rules and regulations.
  • Able to begin making an impact immediately for the supported Government customer with minimal train up.

Desired Skills:

  • DOD Acquisition certifications and/or formal Acquisition training preferred.
