SAIC is seeking a DevOps Advisor to provide critical Systems Engineer Technical Advisor (SETA) services on the SAIC prime program Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA.

As a DevOps Advisor you will work closely with the NRO Ground Enterprise Directorate, gaining an inside view of project needs while facilitating the development, acquisition, and support of complex systems and technology. As an advisor, you will provide technical knowledge, scientific information, advice, opinions, alternatives, analyses, feedback, and recommendations.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating as a strategic advisor to senior customers and utilizing hands-on experience to consult in the designing and building, while maintaining continuous integration (CI)/continuous delivery (CD) building pipelines
• Leading the design, development, and instantiation of the deployment process for the project
• Leveraging automated testing tools to automate testing
• Guiding the design, build and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines in multiple integration and test (I&T) environments
• Installing, configuring, and managing automated testing tools
• Communicating with non-development communities on effective migration strategies for the DevOps pipeline 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or related discipline and five (5) years or more experience; OR Masters and 3 years or more experience
• Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph 
• 5+ years of Cloud Architecture experience
• 3+ years as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD orchestrator tools e.g., Jenkins, Maven, Ant, or similar CI/CD orchestrator tool(s)
• Hands-on experience with at least one configuration/deployment management system e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible, AWS Cloud Formation, Salt, or other similar tools
• Experience with tools enabling automated testing and integration, and with AWS specifically in regard to key services e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, KMS, CloudFormation, IAM
• Familiarity with Test Automation tools and frameworks:  XUnit, Selenium, Cypress JS, SauceLabs, etc.
