SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist/Applications Tester to verify that the developed software meets the specified requirements and produces the desired results combined with ensuring any defects are identified and documented. The tester will build test cases based on use case development methodologies as well as knowledge and experience with automated testing. The applications include a custom production application that is a centralized repository for search and discovery of internal documents; a custom application that provides workflow and research; and a targeting and knowledge management tool that stores products in a centralized repository. These applications will be housed within an AWS environment. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:  

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, and/or Computer Science. Note that years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree. 

• Five (5) years or more of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following application testing activities: 

• Developing test cases as part of an Agile team 

• Using a test automation framework and automation test tools 

• Utilizing an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for development and execution of test strips 

• Managing testing for multiple applications during the concurrent development cycles 

• Executing regression, integration, API and/or functional testing 

• Developing and managing test plans and cases

Desired Qualifications:

• Using JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint 

• Briefing technical topics to an non-technical audience
