SAIC a contingent job opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer to support a U.S. Navy program in Point Mugu, CA. 

This future opportunity will support the ETIRMS (Electronic Warfare Tactical Information and Report Management System) software system and MESA (Multi-domain EW Services and Analytic) solutions and Services. 

This position is contingent upon contract award, expected in Nov 2023.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Has recent and relevant experience in software requirements to include analyzing the requirements for appropriate decomposition, allocation, and traceability; documenting the results; and submit the results for peer review and input to Functional Requirements Documents, System/SubSystem Specifications and Software Requirements Specifications 
• Demonstrated experience for conducting studies and analyses of system concepts
• Has programmatic or technical leadership roles in an organization identifying, formulating, designing and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems and guide the engineering development of modern complex systems
• Employs systems engineering methods and tools in the development of advanced complex systems, and when appropriate, conduct research in applied systems engineering to advance the field

Qualifications

Requirements:

• A Master’s degree in a Relevant Engineering/Science Field and 10 (ten) years experience, Three (3) years of which must be directly related to Naval systems
  • 14 (fourteen) years experience  in lieu of a Master’s degree
• Demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise.
• Active Secret Clearance

Target salary range: $150,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
