Description
Communications Lead for a program management office (PMO), manages and integrates activities in accordance with contract requirements to ensure clear, consistent communications within the program. Manages customer, partner, and stakeholder relationships to ensure all are engaged and informed on program management office and campus activities. Develops a communications management strategy as part of the overall program management office documentation. Engages with the executive agent corporate communications team to implement PMO communications strategies effectively. Ensures PMO communications strategies are functionally coordinated with partners and stakeholders to ensure future operability and timely and appropriate action tracking for the PMO. Provides guidance and direction for communications to the internal cross-functional team. Represents the PMO, interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
Edits, proofreads and provides writing support, the conceptualization, layout and preparation of graphics, text, and templates, and the design, preparation, and creation of new media projects on non-technical and/or technical documents . Responsibilities include checking drafts for format, clarity and overall cohesiveness. Ensuring documents meet editorial and government specifications and adhering to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format and style. Responsibilities include producing and/or revising technical articles, proposals, publications, books, manuals, reports, and marketing materials and determining project requirements and presenting drafts of finished product to the user ensuring high quality of output. Reviews rough drafts and makes suggestions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years or more of related experience in corporate or similar communications;
