SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.

We are seeking highly motivated Network Architects / Designers to join our team and leverage their technical expertise to design and implement computer networks that meet the needs of the Sponsor.  As the Network Architect / Designer, you will work with hardware and software components to create a network infrastructure that supports the Sponsor’s goals.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Analyzing business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework
• Designing, testing, and inspecting data communications systems
• Developing technology roadmaps
• Developing test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects
• Overseeing the maintenance of the network, including monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing upgrades and patches
• Ensuring the network is secure from unauthorized access, data, breaches, and other security threats

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience with networking protocols, operating systems, and network security
• Strong technical background
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
