SAIC’s National Intelligence Community (NIC) Business Unit, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, provides solutions and services supporting digital modernization programs in areas such as systems engineering, multi-cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science and analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, quantum computing, application development, SecDevOps, cloud network operations, and secure communications.

We are seeking highly motivated Engineering Specialists / Technicians to join our team and leverage their technical expertise to analyze and validate data.  As an Engineering Specialist / Technician, you will perform engineering work to include conducting inspections, fieldwork, data collection, and validation.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Performing engineering and/or environmental assessments, modeling, and monitoring
• Preparing plans, specifications, estimates, reports, and related documents for compliance laws and standards, and making recommendations
• Developing and contributing to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope of complexity
• Supporting continuous process improvement efforts to reduce wasted time and redundanc
• Proactively interacting with customers by communicating project status, technical findings, and providing technical demonstrations

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering of Engineering Technology related field
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or other engineering disciplines
• Knowledge of engineering and data analysis techniques and theories
• Ability to apply engineering concepts, conduct inspections, perform maintenance activities, perform design work, perform construction or fabrication work, operate specialized equipment, organize and analyze data, and communicate effectively
