Description

The IPT Deputy is responsible for providing innovative and trusted solutions that optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of a program's products and services over their life cycle. The IPT Deputy will leverage existing and 3rd party capabilities being maintained and/or integrated within AOC Weapon System baseline as well as collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, including System, Software and Hardware Design, Cross Product and Integrated Product Teams, Chief Engineers and Program Leadership. As the ideal candidate you are a motivated, conceptual thinker with strong professional experience and demonstrated proficiency with technical publications, curriculum design, development and/or delivery.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate technical actions taking place within your respective Integrated Product Team
  • (IPT)
  • Interfacing with the key stakeholders to optimize products and solutions in support of achieving maximum Operational Readiness and compliance to contractual requirements as well as establishing open communications and trust
  • Grow and maintain communication with 10.1 functional area Government leads/ IPT Leads
  • Respond to Government needs in a timely manner, addressing complex technical requirements and collaborating with a globally diverse team to achieve mission objectives
  • Core Duties:
  • Hardware & software system deployment, implementation, tuning, design, testing, systems administration

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors and 9 years’ experience with Training, Engineering, Program or Project Management in a military or civilian environment; An additional 2 years of relevant professional experience may be substituted for each
  • 1 year of college
  • Active Secret clearance; Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
  • Experience with program management tools such as Earned Value Management System
  • (EVMS) or experience integrating project cost, schedule, risk and progress
  • Experience using Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) or Risk and Opportunity Management to identify issues and develop implement courses of action
  • 5+ years’ experience working in an Operations Center or related C2 environment
  • Broad-based technical background focused on computer and information systems, and a strong grasp of engineering fundamentals with comparable progression of management responsibilities
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing team to meet contractual/mission requirements
  • Experience managing diverse tasks, requirements and commitments and interface successfully with numerous disciplines
  • Comprehensive planning skills with the ability to analyze technical and financial data and reports

Preferred:

  • Active US DoD Security Clearance granted within the last 5 years
  • Graduate-level degree in Engineering or a related technical or business field
  • Experience working in Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) and general understanding of CAOC processes and procedures in support of execution of the Air Tasking Order (ATO) and Airspace Control Order (ACO)
