Description

SAIC is seeking a Master Scheduler to join our talented team in Chantilly, VA. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.  This position is responsible for coordinating, understanding, and de-conflicting all facilities projects across the Enterprise. 

In this role you will serve as an interface between the on-site government facilities management organization, design and construction contractors, Site Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support contractor, local utilities and all other customers and stakeholders on matters related to customer requirements, project prioritization and execution.

Primary responsibilities for this position are:  

  • Develop, maintain, and be prepared to brief leadership on schedule milestones.
  • Identify related sub-projects and interdependencies, while ensuring the planning, finance, and the local facilities teams are prepared for project execution within the agreed upon schedule.
  • Work closely with the Government customer and make recommendations related to management of the schedule and performance status and project contract actions.  
  • Support the planning, documentation, execution, and tracking of the life cycle milestones of projects across the enterprise and support internal and external acquisition and planning events.
  • Conduct end-to-end integration and successful oversight of specific directed capabilities.
  • Work collaboratively across the enterprise and with external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering or a related field of study; applicable professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • 6+ years enterprise Schedule tracking experience. 
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Scheduling Tools. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to team with industry partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing resources.
  • Ability to write technical documents for broad audiences.
  • Experience in schedule analysis.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with facility projects and milestones
  • Master’s Degree in a Business, Engineering or Architectural Field
  • Project Management Institutes’ PMP or equivalent project management certification
