Introduction
The National Security Customer Group of SAIC is seeking a Risk Management Framework Analyst to support a transformational infrastructure program within the DoD. This is a hybrid role with most of the work being done onsite in Quantico.
Job Description
Responsible for cybersecurity assessment, authorization and compliance services supporting the risk management framework (RMF) process, providing industry best practices and experiences to meet appropriate DoD cybersecurity and RMF compliance standards, as part of the overall effort. Identifies and analyzes potential cybersecurity related events that may negatively impact individuals, assets, and/or the operating environment and executes steps to provide mitigation strategies to the government. Develops security plans, as well as assessment reports, plans of action and remediation milestones. Defines criticality or sensitivity of systems, performs categorization calculations, and recommends corrective action. Assists with continuous monitoring and security control, risk, and vulnerability scanning and assessments, creating rules for scans and providing recommendations for implementation and mitigation/remediation. Prepares test plans and conducts security control and validation testing. Uses Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) to support creation, modification, and sustainment of cybersecurity accreditation packages and artifacts. Evaluates proposed new products and protocols for impact to the accreditation posture. Tracks and presents outstanding eMASS packages, resolves issues impacting packages, and prepares impact statements or short-term ATO packages, importing required documents into eMASS.
