JOB DESCRIPTION: SAIC has an immediate opening that directly supports national security.  We are seeking a highly motivated and technically oriented System Engineer / SI to provide oversight of contractor technical milestones and provide verification and validation for system sell-off.  The ability to learn about technology quickly, communicate technical information to non-technical audiences and work tactfully and collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to meet mission outcomes.  The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is required.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop CONOPS, system requirements and system specification documents
• Provide oversight of contractor technical milestones and provide verification and validation for system sell-off
• Review technical designs and contractor deliverables
• Provide technical feedback to contractor designs
• Construct technical briefings for sponsor management
• Construct, Model, and analyze RF Link budgets for mission suitability

Qualifications

• TS/SCI and Poly
• Moderate understanding of RF propagation, related technologies
• Experience using STK, Builder, and Matlab
• TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
