Description

SAIC is seeking a Software Documentation Specialist  in Sterling Heights, Michigan or Charleston, South Carolina to support the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) program.

NOTE: This position can potentially support hyrbid work of 2-3 days, Work from Home

Job Responsibilities:

  •  Assists Agile teams to produce documentation and manage metrics.
  • Creates and implement Digital Engineering templates to extract PLM meta-data and produce specifications.
  • Support Agile planning events and schedule activities for Agile teams and infrastructure.
  • Lead and manage release DE lifecycle quantitative and qualitative metrics in accordance with DE measurement framework.
  • Creates and manages templates for Product Development Lifecycle processes.
  • Audits all documentation as part of the new Product Development Lifecycle.
  • Ensures standardization across teams on templates and documentation for the Product Development Lifecycle.
  • Collaborates with and leads cross functional teams to deliver results.
  • Manages communication with various product & engineering teams and executive leadership to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Follows up with stakeholders to keep documentation and processes on track and raise issues when needed.
  • Maintains Scrum Master Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Supports Continuous Planning processes.
  • Produces and catalogs all documentation including process documents and weekly reporting.
  • Develops reports/dashboards and communicates on a regular cadence to relevant stakeholders to keep everyone informed.
  • Gathers feedback from key stakeholders and provides recommendations on the best way to improve documentation and governance.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelors and six (6) years of experience; MBA and four (4) years of experience.

Qualifications:

  • Process oriented with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong background in leading and completing complex projects and programs across the software industry.
  • Understanding of agile development lifecycle and software delivery operations.
  • Collaborative style; partners well with cross-functional teams solve problems and to complete complex deliverables within tight time frames.
  • Exceptional facilitation, moderation and organization skills.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Packages and Planning Tools, advanced level preferred for Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • An ability to balance detail-orientation as well as big picture thinking and strategy.

Clearance:

  • Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain
  • Must be a current US Citizen
