Job Description


SAIC is seeking a Records Manager to lead our team supporting the ICBM weapon system at our government customer site Hill AFB, UT. Commit your talents to the critical Department of Defense (DoD) mission of nuclear deterrence by helping sustain and improve the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) leg of the United States Nuclear Triad. This position will directly support the Sentinel Program Execution Division.

Duties will include:

  • Leading, planning and managing Sentinel’s records management program in multiple classification levels
  • Serves as the program-wide technical expert on electronic and non-electronic records management issues, advises Executive Leadership Team of documentation and creation and management of agency records
  • Keeping senior management informed on current and projected operational requirements, issues, and regulatory matters, coordinates with program managers to ensure records creation, maintenance, use, and disposition are in accordance with Air Force Instructions
  • Ensures Program personnel are knowledgeable and kept current about records management principles and requirements, and Program personnel receive records management training as directed


  • 10 years relevant experience; 5 years with a master's degree
  • Ability to understand project requirements, coordinate resources, and direct projects in the right direction in a timely manner
  • Ability to lead, plan and manage Directorate records management in multiple classifications
  • Coordinate, maintain, and ensure with program managers, senior and executive leadership that Directorate records are in accordance with Air Force Instructions
  • Understanding of DoD/DOE acquisition and program management process
  • Exceptional customer communication and engagement skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills :

  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Ability to support various process improvement and solution implementation projects relating to electronic records
  • Records management creation, maintenance, use, and disposition experience
  • Strong organizational skills; create structure and direction and maintain large electronic and hard copy file database
  • Clear and concise communication skills in matters relating to records and information assets
  • Defense Acquisitions University (DAU) training/equivalent records management experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
