Description

• Design GCP environments and topologies
• Provision and deploy workloads to GCP
• Tools and Automation (Terraform, Ansible)
• System administration, user creation, active directory
• OS image creation through automation
• Configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting of cloud assets and software systems
• Proactively identify and resolve operational, tooling and process inefficiencies
• Document design and project decisions
• Process and support documentation
• Update Knowledge base and Standard Operating Procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience
• Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

• Active Interim Secret clearance required; Ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required to maintain employment
• US citizenship required

• Minimum of two (2) years experience developing automation and Infrastructure as Code
• AF C1 Dev engineering, operations and sustainment experience
• Experience with DevSecOps tool chains to include:
• • Jenkins
  • Artifactory
  • Kubernetes design, deployment, operations, and sustainment
  • Atlassian tools, GitLab, or GitHub
  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (e.g. Apache Guacamole, Amazon Workspaces, Azure Virtual Desktop, VMWare Horizon, etc.)
  • Identity Provider & Management
  • Network Security
• In-depth understanding of, and experience as a cloud engineer with one or more or AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
  • Networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, SQL, Domain Controllers, Active Directory, SSO, F5, Barracuda, Backup and Storage
  • Demonstrated experience with customer contact and collaboration, design, implementation, and participation in project planning
• Experience preparing technical documentation including design, asset inventory, diagrams.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other modern software development methods/practices
• Experience supporting USAF, cloud, or software development projects 

Desired Skills:

• Experience in an MSP or other IT company
• Solutions Architect Professional certification
• Security + certification

Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
